Code Breakers: Beta by Colin F. Barnes continues where the first book, Alpha, left off. The fast paced action continues to grow in intensity.

The book seamlessly continues the storyline and adventure of the code writers from the first book in the series. As the story grows so does the intrigue and excitement of the book. In this book we get deeper into the background of the tale and learn more about the "family" causing it to become harder to put the book down. Code Breakers: Beta captured me.

I really liked the characters created by Colin F. Barnes for this series. As the tale moved forward I began to learn more about them and they came alive. Their strengths and character made the story real

I enjoyed reading Code Breakers: Beta by Colin F. Barnes and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Code Breakers: Alpha by Colin F. Barnes is a great science fiction novel that is made for today's reading nerd, of which I am. It brings together code writing, implants and adventure that will leave you breathless.

The author has done a great job of putting together a tale that is fast paced and full of intrigue. You have to pay attention to your reading to keep up with all the plot twist and story turns.  This was an exciting read.

The characters created by Colin F. Barnes are easy to believe in and to follow. I really liked getting into the storyline with the characters. They had depth and personality which made it more believable.

I really liked Code Breakers: Alpha by Colin F. Barnes and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Monte Vista Village by Lynn Lamb is a post-apocalyptic book written in the form of a diary. It is well written and the moved at a steady pace. The characters were well developed and seemed real.

But, in all honesty I did not enjoy this book. I do not like the diary style of writing which made it hard for me to get into. I also found the storyline a little hard to believe. This may be my own idiosyncrasies and should not stop a reader from reading this book. As I said it was well written and the story moved at a steady pace.

review	If you like post-apocalyptic survival stories you will love this book. Life After War: Book One - The Survivors by Angela White is a great adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire read. The author did a great job of creating a storyline that is both realistic and easy to identify with. No crazy zombies or weird brain sucking creatures, just a world turned upside down and people trying to survive. It was east to get caught up in this book and I found it hard to put down. When I did put it down I could not get it out of my mind. Angela White did an excellent job of developing her characters. I like the way she made them seem like real people who you would meet on the street. This helped me internalize the story and get caught up in following the main characters. Life After War: Book One - The Survivors by Angela White is an excellent book and I highly recommend this book. review	The Hilliard Contagion by Rainier Keyes is a very interesting book. It will keep you read and thinking from beginning to end. I liked the way the author use a fictitious storyline to develop a tale of the socio-political problems of this world. It reminded me of some of the writings from the late 1960's to early 1970's. Leaving the political statements alone, the book is very well written and thought out. I liked the way the storyline is developed and it kept my interest through-out the book. It was easy to read and the pace was good. I liked Rainier Keyes' characters. They were well developed and easy to identify with.  The further I got into the story the more I liked them. review	I always enjoy reading a good post-apocalyptic book that deals in realism and human triumph. Life Without Power by Chris Ammann is just such a book. It’s fast paced and the action will keep you glued to the pages. The author did a great job of develop a storyline that was realistic and easy to believe in. Even with all the twist and turns of the plot the author stayed true to realism in his post-apocalyptic world. It was exciting and easy to follow the story and I really got into the flow. Chris Amman did an excellent job of character development making his characters easy to identify with. They seem like people you might meet on the street, regular people caught in a world turned upside down. review	Children of Earth by Lorinda Donovan is a great book for all you sci-fi and post-apocalyptic readers and will keep your glued to the edge of your seat throughout the book. It is full of nonstop action and adventure. The author did a great job of storytelling and developed a book that is both real to life and believable. It was easy to get into the story and follow along with the various twist and turns which kept popping up. I love when I can place myself into a story and identify with it. Lorinda Donovan’s characters were well developed and easy it identify with. She built a great background for each and tied the background into the story. Again, I love when I can relate to the characters and follow along with them and the story. And, what an ending. I can’t wait for the next volume. review	Doomsday Diaries II: New World Order by Aaron Powell is an action packed adventure novel into a post-apocalyptic world of the future. I enjoyed the story so well I could not put it down and read it in one day, which is unusual for me. This is the second in the Doomsday Diaries series and I felt Aaron Powell really began to pull the story together. The overall storyline was well developed and believable. It was an easy book to read and follow. With each new twist you could feel the story intensity level rise and the excitement build. I enjoyed following the story and getting into the book. The characters were well defined and believable. The main characters and the hero flowed seamlessly from the first book into this book with the continuation of the storyline. Each of the new characters added to the story helped build on the suspense and action.  Aaron had a few surprising twist with the characters which added to the story. I am looking forward to reading the next installment. review	Daimones by Massimo Marino is a post-apocalyptic book with a slightly different take on the storyline. It was a great read and I found it hard to put down once I started reading the book. The author is an excellent story teller, weaving a tail of survival which was well thoughtout and developed. The story was deep but it was also easy to follow. I often found myself pondering what he said and thinking wow. I really enjoyed the characters. They were very believable and easy to relate to. Massimo Marino did a great job of developing them and relating them to the storyline. This was a great read and I really enjoyed it. review	“Doomsday Diaries” by Aaron Powell is a good book which was hard to put down. The storyline is very good and creative. The story is well developed and easy to follow. I enjoyed the way the author wrote the book as a journal. The characters were believable and easy to relate to. I found I could put myself into the story and identify with the characters. There is one section of the book which did not add any value to the storyline but actually distracted from it and will limit the book’s readership. It was a section of the story that dealt with graphic sexuality and could have been handle more discreetly. Other that this I liked the book.
