review
Earth Alone by Daniel Arenson is a science fiction dystopia novel of earth's recovery and fighting back after a devastating attach on the planet by aliens. It is well written and interesting.

The storyline is well developed and deep, with a lot of the hero's thoughts. Though interesting this slowed the book down and caused it to drag, in my opinion.

The main characters in the story were will develop and likeable. I did like the background he provided for them, but at times it was too much.

I had trouble getting into Earth Alone by Daniel Arenson, which may have just been me.

review
Code Breakers: Beta by Colin F. Barnes continues where the first book, Alpha, left off. The fast paced action continues to grow in intensity.

The book seamlessly continues the storyline and adventure of the code writers from the first book in the series. As the story grows so does the intrigue and excitement of the book. In this book we get deeper into the background of the tale and learn more about the "family" causing it to become harder to put the book down. Code Breakers: Beta captured me.

I really liked the characters created by Colin F. Barnes for this series. As the tale moved forward I began to learn more about them and they came alive. Their strengths and character made the story real

I enjoyed reading Code Breakers: Beta by Colin F. Barnes and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

(I read this book as part of a 5 book sci-fi boxset: To The Stars and Back)

The Forever Gate: Part 1 by Isaac Hooke is an interesting dystopia novel which will keep you wanting more. It is fast paced and easy to follow making it a fun book to read.

The storyline is good and well developed with just enough twist and turns to keep it moving. I found it easy to follow and even the action was believable.

The characters developed by Isaac Hooke were easy to believe in and get behind. The main character had enough flaws to make him real. I liked watching him grow.

I like The Forever Gate: Part 1 by Isaac Hooke and recommend this book.

Every so often I like to read a good dystopia novel and The Last Survivors - Book 1 by Bobby Adair and T.W. Piperbrook is just such a book. It is full of adventure and it is fast pace.

The author grab my attention from page one and kept it throughout the book. The storyline was action packed and full of plot twist and turns which kept the story moving. I found the book to be well thought-out and believable. It was very easy to get caught up in the story and hard to put the book down.

SWAB by Heather Choate is an excellent sci-fi & dystopia book that kept me glued to its pages. It is fast paced and full of action. The excitement never ends and I never got bored.

The author did a great job of developing a sci-fi tale which was real and very believable. She spun her story in such a way that it was easy to get involved in the story as an unseen extra character and follow along. I like this when I'm reading.

Heather Choate did an excellent job of character development. I came to know the characters and identify with them through her storytelling style. As the story progressed you could see the characters grow and developed.

I really liked SWAB by Heather Choate and I highly recommend this book to all readers.
