Secret of the Crystal by Brian K. Larson is an action packed, fast paced adventure combining time travel, space opera and fantasy. Once I started reading the book, it was hard to put it down.

The author did a great job of weaving a tale of adventure across time and space. The story was full of twist and turns which kept me glue to it but it was easy to read and follow. I found myself getting absorbed into the adventure and this makes a book all the more enjoyable.

Brian K. Larson did an excellent job of developing characters that were both real and easy to identify with. His storytelling style gave plenty of information on the backgrounds and storylines of each character. This helped bring them and the story to life.

I really like Secret of the Crystal by Brian K. Larson and highly recommend this book to all readers.

I Dream That I May One Day Be by Catherine Follestad is a fun book to read with your children and help them as an early reader. They will enjoy the story and the pictures.

Catherine Follestad did a great job of developing a story that brings both the fun of reading and a life lesson to the young readers. In its simple rhyming style it tell about growing up and all the fun opportunities there are.

This section from Catherine Follestad's book is one of my favorites:

So I think right now I

like being just me

and learning to play and

learning to be,

all that I can and all that I should

to become what I want

and really make good.

I will play with my friends

and learn as I go;

there is much to do and

many ways to grow.

I really liked I Dream That I May One Day Be by Catherine Follestad and I highly recommend this book. I give it my "Grandpa Seal of Approval."

My Life Untold by S.S Gee Buro is a fast paced, exciting love story about survival during the American Civil War. It was a great read and I found it hard to put down once I started reading the book.
The author is an excellent story teller, weaving a tail of love and survival which was well thought-out and developed. The story was deep but it was also easy to follow. Having been to many of the sites talked about in the book it made the story come alive and captured my imagination.
I really enjoyed the characters. They were very believable and easy to relate to. S.S. Gee Buro did a great job of developing them and relating them to the storyline.

This was an excellent read and I really enjoyed it.

I highly recommend My Life Untold by S.S. Gee Buro.

If you like post-apocalyptic survival stories you will love this book. Life After War: Book One - The Survivors by Angela White is a great adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire read.
The author did a great job of creating a storyline that is both realistic and easy to identify with. No crazy zombies or weird brain sucking creatures, just a world turned upside down and people trying to survive. It was east to get caught up in this book and I found it hard to put down. When I did put it down I could not get it out of my mind.
Angela White did an excellent job of developing her characters. I like the way she made them seem like real people who you would meet on the street. This helped me internalize the story and get caught up in following the main characters.
Life After War: Book One - The Survivors by Angela White is an excellent book and I highly recommend this book. I can't wait to read the next installment.

** The author recommends the book to an adult audience due to the violent, graphic and mature nature of the story.

If you like a book with a little romance, a lot of adventure and a dash of intrigue then Flowers In The Sand by Clive Algar is a book for you. This historical fiction based in South Africa around 1901'ish is a hard to put down novel.

I really like the way the author developed his storyline. There was just enough background historical info to make the story believable and real. I found the story easy to read and follow and with enough plot twist to keep me glued to the story.

Clive Algar did an excellent job of developing his characters. They were both real and easy to believe in. With the background information and the author's writing style each character seemed like someone you would know, making them it easy to either cheer them on or dislike them.

I really liked reading Flowers In The Sand by Clive Algar and I highly recommend this book.
