review

The Devil's Luck by Jan Needle is a very good seafaring adventure in the 18th century English navy. The book will grab your attention and keep you reading.

The author developed a tale that was not as grand as most English naval adventures but it was a lot more realistic and true to life. The story was full of adventure and left little time for day dreaming. It is an easy to read book that I enjoyed reading and getting into.

I liked Jan Needle's characters.  The main characters and the crew were well developed and easy to like. The author did an excellent job of making them very believable and real, especially for that historical period.

I enjoyed reading The Devil's Luck by Jan Needle and recommend this book to all readers.

I like a good action packed mystery and Cosega Search by Brandt Legg is a great example of this type of novel. Throw in a little history, a little archeology and a dab of science fiction and you are set for a great read.

The author did an excellent job of developing a thriller that kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. Its none stop action and multiple plot twist made the book exciting to read and get into. Even with all this, the author's storytelling style made the book easy to follow and enjoy. It was a fun read.

Brandt Legg developed characters that were both believable and easy to identify with. He provided the right amount of background information to make them seem real. I found myself identifying with the hero of the story and this made the book even more fun to read. The author accomplished another goal, it has made me want to read the next installment.

Cosega Search by Brandt Legg is an excellent book and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Sword of Empire by Christopher Nicole is an excellent example of a well written historical novel. This is a true page turner which will keep you glued to its pages.

I love a book that transports you back to a historical place and time and captures your imagination. The author has done just that with his storytelling and creative writing style. The fact that I love the historical places and cultures of India made the story all the more real to me.  The writing style allowed me to feel the sway of the elephants and smell the aromas of the environment, both good and bad.

Christopher Nicole did an excellent job of developing his characters. It was easy to identify and follow with them throughout the story. I love to watch characters grow and mature as a story develops and the author achieved that, making them seem more real and easy to identify with.

I really like Sword of Empire and I highly recommend this book.
