The Restoration by Wanda Brunstetter continues in the tradition of all her stories. It contains everything you need to have a great read, romance, a little intrigue, personal growth and a faith building message. Once you start reading it you will not want to put it down.As with her other books I found the author's ability to weave a story that was so realistic I lost myself in the tale, following as an unseen extra. How many times in real life have I stumbled through a task to success. Wanda Burnstetter's down to earth style of writing made the story come alive to this reader. There are no limits to God's plan for your life and this story re-enforces that truth to the reader.


Wanda Burnstetter has done it again by developing characters that are realistic and easy to identify with. Through their personal growth and adventure the characters force the reader to look at their own life choices and grow. I found it very easy to identify with the characters and follow along their individual storylines.


I really enjoyed The Restoration by Wanda Burnstetter and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

When You Come Home by Nancy Cavin Pitts is what reading a love story is all about. This book will, not only, pull at your heart strings, but will grab your heart and squeeze.

The author has developed a tale of pure and simple love in a young couple in the early 1940s. Nancy Cavin Pitts writing style weaves a story that will not let you put it down. I found myself not wanting to go to bed but continuing to read this beautiful story.

The characters developed by Nancy Cavin Pitts could be the kids next door. They are so real and believable, I found myself in the storyline as a friend. I love when I can become so involved in the story I can't get it out of my mind.

I really loved When You Come Home by Nancy Cavin Pitts and I highly recommend this book for all readers.

Once in a while I really enjoy reading a good book about growing up in a small town and The Heart is Where the Angels Sing by Kenny Miller is just such a book. It is full of short stipites of life in middle America.

The author's storytelling style had me laughing out loud in some stories and shedding tears in others. The stories are so real and heart touching that I literally could not stop reading.

The Heart is Where the Angels Sing by Kenny Miller is an EXCELLENT book and will fill you with life and hope. I highly recommend this book to all readers and ages.

For all you lovers of Amish fiction The Gift - Prairie State Friends Book 2 by Wanda Brunstetter is the novel for you. This book has it all romance, a little intrigue, and personal growth and a faith building message.

The author's storytelling style made the book hard to put down. The story was so realistic it was easy to put yourself into it and follow along. Even with the simple life of the Amish the pressures of life are there and real. Wanda Burnstetter's down to earth style of writing made the story come alive to this reader. There are no limits to Gods plan for your future and this story re-enforces that truth to the reader.

Wanda Burnstetter has done an excellent job of developing characters that are realistic and easy to identify with.  Through their personal growth and ultimate selflessness they force the reader to look inward and grow. I found it very easy to identify with the characters and follow along their individual storylines.

I really enjoyed The Gift - Prairie State Friends Book 2 by Wanda Burnstetter and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Intrusion, A Relative Invasion by Rosalind Minett is a lite, easy to read story that will grab you and keep you glued to its page from beginning to end. This is the type of book you love cozying up to and getting lost to the outside world reading it.

It is hard to imagine growing up, as a child with all the normal family dynamics, in the middle of London in World War II. Rosalind Minett has put together a tale of just such a life with this book. The story revolves around Billy, a young boy growing up in a very dysfunctional family. Billy will grab your heart as you grow attached to him and his situation. The author has done a great job of developing each of her characters giving them life with words.

The storyline is full of joy and sadness as you see the realities of war time life. The author has done a great job of putting together a tale that is so believable that you find yourself there. You can tell Rosalind Minett has done her research by the realness and historical accuracy of the story.

I liked Intrusion, A Relative Invasion by Rosalind Minett and I recommend it to all readers.

Sometimes you need to take a step back and read a good heartwarming story about family. A Room of My Own by Ann Tatlock is just such a book that will take you back to just such a world.

The author has done an excellent job of developing a coming of age story of a young girl in the 1930's. While living through the hard years of the depression we see this family come together. The story captured my heart and I really had a hard time taking a reading break once I started.

Ann Tatlock's characters are well develop and very easy to identify with. They were so real I found myself falling deep into the story and becoming an unseen character, following along in the background. I love the storytelling style of Ann Tatlock and how she created characters and a storyline that flow together so wonderful.

I really loved A Room of My Own by Ann Tatlock and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

review	The Visitor by Bree Abbington is a great book to spend an afternoon wrapped up in. This 58'ish page heartwarming true story will keep you glued to its pages. The author did a great job of telling this story about one Christmas in her life. Her writing style just added to the realism and captures the reader. You can feel her pain and triumphs throughout the book. review	The Thanksgiving Dinner Platter by Randa Handler is an excellent children’s book dealing with the meaning of Thanksgiving.  It was both well written and illustrated. I really like the way the author brought in multiple cultures to help share in the true meaning of giving thanks for all we have. It built on family values and helped move away from the commercial definitions of the holidays we have now. Randa Handler did a great job of making the storyline interesting and easy to follow. Children of all ages will find it fun and informative. I really liked The Thanksgiving Dinner Platter by Randa Handler and I highly recommend this book. review	I really enjoyed reading Brothers by Maria Alony. Having been an older brother most of my life I laughed and laughed at the story. The book was well written and easy for a young child to follow. It was both funny and informative. I really liked the way Maria Alony brought in the truth of how much fun it is to be an older brother and how special a younger brother is.
