Sometimes you need to take a step back
and read a good heartwarming story about family. A Room of My Own by Ann
Tatlock is just such a book that will take you back to just such a world.
The author has done an excellent job of
developing a coming of age story of a young girl in the 1930's. While living
through the hard years of the depression we see this family come together. The
story captured my heart and I really had a hard time taking a reading break
once I started.
Ann Tatlock's characters are well
develop and very easy to identify with. They were so real I found myself
falling deep into the story and becoming an unseen character, following along
in the background. I love the storytelling style of Ann Tatlock and how she
created characters and a storyline that flow together so wonderful.
I really loved A Room of My Own by Ann
Tatlock and I highly recommend this book to all readers.
