The
Thanksgiving Dinner Platter by Randa Handler is an excellent children’s book
dealing with the meaning of Thanksgiving. It was both well written and illustrated.
I
really like the way the author brought in multiple cultures to help share in
the true meaning of giving thanks for all we have. It built on family values
and helped move away from the commercial definitions of the holidays we have
now.
Randa
Handler did a great job of making the storyline interesting and easy to follow.
Children of all ages will find it fun and informative.
I
really liked The Thanksgiving Dinner Platter by Randa Handler and I highly
recommend this book. I give it my "Grandpa Seal of Approval."
