Nastragull Hunted by Erik Martin Willen will set a sci-fi addict's heart on fire. This fast paced, high adventure space opera will not let you catch your breath.

The author did an excellent job of developing a storyline that was full of epic space battles and political intrigue. I could not stop reading once I pick the book up. It is full of twist and turns in the story that keeps you asking, "what can possible happen next?"

I love the way Erik Martin Willen developed his characters in the first book of the series, Pirates, and continues to build on them as you read this epic adventure. I really liked the way I could identify with the hero and how he came to life as the story progressed.

I really liked Nastragull Hunted by Erik Martin Willen and I highly recommend this book.

One of my favorite historical characters was Sir Francis Drake. David Wesley Hill, in his book At Drake’s Command, has captured the spirit of adventure to sail under Drake’s command at sea. This is an excellent historical fiction with plenty of action and adventure.

The storyline is based loosely on the actual records of Drake’s voyages and this adds to the realism of the story.  The story is well defined and easy to follow. The various twist and turns in story make the adventure more exciting. I found it very easy to put myself in the story as an unseen extra.

Our hero in the story is fictitious but it makes it easier to identify with him. David Wesley Hill did an excellent job of character development with each character. They each seemed real and it was easy to follow and identify with them. Their emotions and moral character came through.

I really enjoyed At Drake’s Command by David Wesley Hill. I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Nastragull: Part 1 Pirates by Erik Martin Willen is an exciting and thrilling science fiction adventure. From the first page to the last it kept a firm grasp on my attention, making it hard to put down.

The story line was well developed and easy to follow. The fast paced action kept me wondering what was going to happen next. With each new twist you just kept saying wow. I love a good space opera and this is one.

The characters were easy to identify with and were very believable. Each of the main characters was well developed and their background info was relevant.

There is one sour note in the story. There is a section where the author wrote an intense scene which had graphic and extreme sexual content. I felt it added nothing to the content of the entire story and in fact distracted from it. My personal opinion is it needs to be rewritten and toned way down. Other than this, it is an excellent book.

I highly recommend Nastragull: Part 1 Pirates by Erik Martin Willen with the caveat “for mature reader.”

Kolony by Glynn Burridge is one of those books you cannot stop reading once you start. It is full of excitement and action with a big touch of pure scary built in. The storyline is well developed and easy to follow. Yet, each time I thought it was at a climax it would take off again keeping me on the edge of my seat.

The main characters were very believable, both good and bad. I found myself trying to stay out of the story because of the scariness and evil that was woven throughout the story.

I enjoyed this book and recommend it to a more mature reader as some of the plots were gruesome.
