Columbus Day (Expeditionary Force Book 1) by Craig Alanson is an exceptional sci-fi adventure which captivated me and pulled me deep into the adventure. This book was hard to put down once I started reading.

The author has developed a tail which had several twist and turns that made for exciting reading. As the storyline developed I found myself saying this could be real. I really like the author storytelling style.

Craig Alanson's characters had both depth and an internal strength which made this easy to follow and believe in. It was fun to watch them mature and grow as the story progressed.

I really enjoyed reading Columbus Day and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Beyond the Hidden Sky: Volume 1 of the Star Trails Tetralogy by Marcha Fox is sci-fi at its best. This space opera is fast paced and action packed and will leave you breathless.

I really liked the way the author developed a storyline that is full of plot twist and adventure. It will keep you on your toes as the multiple plot lines progress. The author's storytelling style works well in this type of book and makes it easy to follow and very believable.

Marcha Fox did an excellent job of creating and developing her characters. They are believable and easy to follow. With the background information and the storyline you could see the strength of each of the characters grow and mature as the story progressed.

The only thing that I did not like about the book was it ended. Now I will have to read the next installment of what is shaping up as a great series.

I really liked Beyond the Hidden Sky by Marcha Fox and I highly recommend this excellent book to all readers.

Nastragull Hunted by Erik Martin Willen will set a sci-fi addict's heart on fire. This fast paced, high adventure space opera will not let you catch your breath.

The author did an excellent job of developing a storyline that was full of epic space battles and political intrigue. I could not stop reading once I pick the book up. It is full of twist and turns in the story that keeps you asking, "what can possible happen next?"

I love the way Erik Martin Willen developed his characters in the first book of the series, Pirates, and continues to build on them as you read this epic adventure. I really liked the way I could identify with the hero and how he came to life as the story progressed.

I really liked Nastragull Hunted by Erik Martin Willen and I highly recommend this book.

Phoenix Earth: The Complete First Season by 711 Press (Author), Melvyn Riley (Author), Ronald Coleborn (Author), Rich Dalglish (Editor) is an outstanding example of great science fiction / space opera writing. It is action packed and full of intrigue. It will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire book.
The authors did a great job with developing a storyline that was both believable and easy to follow. It was written in the format of a television series with each chapter called an episode. Don’t let this confuse you. The various episodes/chapters flow seamlessly together weaving a fantastic story.
The characters are also very believable and real to life. It is easy to connect with them and follow their roles in the story. I love when I can put myself into the story and follow along with the characters and identify with them.
I really liked Phoenix Earth: The Complete First Season by 711 Press and I highly recommend it to all readers.

Michael R Hicks has done it again with Empire – Book one of the In Her Name series. This is science fiction at it’s’ best. If you love sci-fi space opera you will love this book.

Throughout his different trilogies dealing with the human and Kreelan empires Michael R Hicks has created a universe full action and adventure. This novel Empire is no different. In addition to all the action he has begun to develop and explain the warlike Kreelan culture and mentality. He has made it so real and believable it is easy to put yourself into the story and be consumed by it.

The author has done an excellent job of developing the lead characters, making it easy to identify and follow them throughout the story. Through his story telling style and word usage I could feel the raw emotion of the heroes of the story.

I have read several of Michael R Hicks' books and all I can say is that they are great.

I really enjoyed reading Empire by Michael R Hicks and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

It is not often I read a book that can get my heart racing like Dark Space by Jasper T. Scott. This science fiction space opera is a true page turner and I could not put it down.
The author did an excellent job of developing a story that was true to the genre. The action and adventure was non-stop. It was easy to follow the story and keep up with the characters even though the book was full of twist and turns.
The characters of the book were well developed and very believable. I like the fact I could identify with them and follow along as an unseen character. By putting myself into the story it came alive.

I really enjoyed reading Jed’s Escape by Zack A Tack. This YA science fiction novel was both fast paced and action packed.

The storyline was well developed and easy to follow. I enjoyed reading a book that had so much action but flowed freely and smoothly from on twist to another.  It was easy to follow along as an unseen character which I always enjoy doing. This was exciting all the way to the end of the story.

The characters were well developed and very believable. The author did an excellent job of making the hero, his supporters and the villains real. Each had strengths and flaws which were easy to identify with.

I really liked Jed’s Escape by Zack A Tack and highly recommend it to all age groups.

How would like a mix of ancient Egyptian, modern adventure and science fiction? If so A Far Traveler – The First Alien by W. Blake Heitzman is the novel for you. This fast paced, high action adventure will keep you on the edge of your reading seat from start to finish.

The storyline is well developed and thought-out. It is easy to follow even with the many twist and turns it takes. Add to this jumping back and forth over 3,000 years and you stay on your toes. But, like I said it is easy to follow.

W. Blake Heitzman did a great job developing each of the characters in the story. They were both believable and easy to identify with. I found myself following along the story and characters as an unseen member of the cast and cheering everybody on.

I really enjoyed and got into reading A Far Traveler by W. Blake Heitzman and I highly recommend it to all readers.
