The Visitor by Bree Abbington is a great book to spend an afternoon wrapped up in. This 58'ish page heartwarming true story will keep you glued to its pages.

The author did a great job of telling this story about one Christmas in her life. Her writing style just added to the realism and captures the reader. You can feel her pain and triumphs throughout the book.

I really enjoyed The Visitor by Bree Abbington and highly recommend this book.

Good Sister, Bad Sister by Carol Marrs Phipps and Tom Phipps is a very good fantasy tale of adventure and intrigue. It was full of plot twist and excitement which kept me glued to the story.

The authors did a great job of weaving a tale full of magic, elves, wizards and even a few dragons. The storyline was both realistic and believable. There were a few editing issues but these failed to distract from the overall readability and otherwise great story.

I like the way Carol Marrs Phipps and Tom Phipps developed the characters. Both ours heroes and the villains in the story were believable and easy to identify with. I always like when an author gives enough background information to make the characters seem like real people.

I really enjoyed reading Good Sister, Bad Sister by Carol Marrs Phipps and Tom Phipps.  I recommend this book to all readers.

This is the first book of The Heart of the Staff series and I look forward to reading more.

Teaching Diamonds in the Tough by Cleo Lampos is an excellent testimonial to how great teachers can and do change peoples lives. I believe it should be required reading for all parents and teachers.

Yes we have problems in our schools, with our teachers and in our homes, but society needs to step back and take a good look at the issues and stop pointing fingers. Cleo Lampos demonstrates that the system can work and shows how to make it better.

I enjoyed reading Teaching Diamonds in the Tough by Cleo Lampos and I highly recommend it to all readers.

The War of the Moonstone by Jack Conner is what fantasy novels are meant to be. This is one of this best fantasy adventures I have read in a long time.

The author did an excellent job of telling a tale of high adventure that is full of non-stop action. It grabbed me by the seat of my pants and pulled me into this world of knights, priestesses of light, and all manner of evil creatures.  It is the classic story of good versus evil but it is full of twist and turns which keep you guessing as to want will happen next.

Jack Conner developed a cast of characters that were both real and easy to identify with. He gave just enough background info to make them come alive with a story of their own. I soon found myself identifying with and cheering our heroes on.

I really like The War of the Moonstone by Jack Conner and I highly recommend this book.

Rover and the Dog Hotel by Uncle Amos is a good children's book for parents and grandparents to read to their children. I enjoyed the book.

The author did a good job of developing a fun tale which will grab a young child's attention and get him involved in the story. That said I did think the parents and the children in the story were too negative and whinny.

Uncle Amos is a great storyteller and his style of writing makes it fun to read. The book is simple and easy to follow and very age appropriate.

I liked Rover and the Dog Hotel by Uncle Amos and I recommend this book.

I give it my "Grandpa Seal of Approval."

The Versailles Legacy by Lyn Alexander is an excellent historical fiction. If you like getting into a book and feeling a part of the story you will love this novel.

I loved the way the author continued to develop the storyline she had started in the first book, The Officer's Code. Germany has suffered through the post WW I years and Hitler is beginning to reunite the patriotic feeling in the German people. The story does an excellent job of following this theme through the lead characters and their emotional turmoil from all the changes they must face. With the author's writing style you will believe you are there.

Lyn Alexander has done a great job of continuing to develop her main characters. The hero continues to grow stronger even as he faces all the changes of this period of history. I really got into the characters as the author so vividly described them.

I really liked The Versailles Legacy by Lyn Alexander and I highly recommend this book and series.
