The Chain of Time by Clive Algar is another excellent historical fiction about the early years of South Africa. This book will grab you and keep you glued to its pages from beginning to end.

I really liked the storyline of The Chain of Time and how the author developed a tale which could have been taken straight out of history. The story is full of adventure and intrigue. With its fast paced plot you never get bored. In fact, just the opposite happens; you don't want to stop reading.

Clive Algar has developed a cast of characters that are both believable and realistic. It is easy to identify with them and follow along with their individual stories. He did a great job of developing each of their backgrounds and stories.

I really like reading The Chain of Time by Clive Algar and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Are you ready to add some adventure, intrigue and action to your reading life? Then it is time to read Sirocco; Storm over Land and Sea by Inge H. Borg, book two of the Legends of the Winged Scarab. This book is definitely a page turner and will have you glued to it from start to finish.

I really like the way the author made a smooth transition from the first book, Khamsin, to this book, even though there were thousands of years between the stories. I do recommend you read the first book first so the background storyline is set.

The author did a great job of developing a tale of adventure that is full of action and plot twist. Her storytelling style makes the book easy to follow even with all the twist and turns. It will not let you put it down or get the story out of your mind.

I liked the way Inge H. Borg developed her characters as the book progress. You could see them mature and grow stronger as the story move forward. They were easy to identify with and they were very believable.

I found Sirocco by Inge H. Borg to be a very good book to read and I highly recommend it to all readers.

Clive Algar has done it again with his book Journeys to the End of the World. This is an excellent book full of action, adventure and romance. Once I started reading this book I had trouble putting it down.

The author is an excellent storyteller and his way with words made the story come alive. I really loved the way he told a tale of three periods in history and brought them all together in the end.

Once again in this story, as in his previous two books I have read, his ability as a wordsmith puts you into the story. Whether on the farm in the early years or on the beach you could smell the smells and hear the sounds of the area, bringing them to life. His description of the war and its horrors was excellent. Without using all the graphic language the author made you feel all the emotions of the characters.

I really like the way Clive Algar developed his characters in the story. He brings them to life and makes them so believable. It is easy to get attached to them and identify with the main characters of the tale.

I really liked Journeys to the End of the World by Clive Algar and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

If you like a book with a little romance, a lot of adventure and a dash of intrigue then Flowers In The Sand by Clive Algar is a book for you. This historical fiction based in South Africa around 1901'ish is a hard to put down novel.

I really like the way the author developed his storyline. There was just enough background historical info to make the story believable and real. I found the story easy to read and follow and with enough plot twist to keep me glued to the story.

Clive Algar did an excellent job of developing his characters. They were both real and easy to believe in. With the background information and the author's writing style each character seemed like someone you would know, making them it easy to either cheer them on or dislike them.

I really liked reading Flowers In The Sand by Clive Algar and I highly recommend this book.

If you like action packed adventure with a few headhunters, cannibals, and archeologists thrown in you will love Days of the Seven by Ryan Orr. Once I started reading this book I did not want to stop.
The author did a great job of developing a storyline which will keep you on the edge of your seat. Taking place in the African Congo the author wove a tail of adventure and intrigue. I found myself caught up in the story and holding my breath as each new twist unfolded.
Ryan Orr’s characters were both believable and real to life. It was easy to identify with them and understand their emotions and thought process. I really liked the characters and the way the author developed them.
This was an exceptionally good book which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this book to all readers.
