I found Monster Feet by Angie Harris to be cute, funny and well written. In other words I laughed.

I love children books that rhyme. Even as a child these were my favorite. Angie Harris did an excellent job of developing a funny story that rhymed from the beginning to the end.

Little Sue was a funny and cute character and I enjoyed her nightly adventures. I think the book did a good job of dealing with childhood night time fears and turning them into positives.

I really enjoyed Monster Feet by Angie Harris and give it my “Grandpa Seal of Approval.” I highly recommend this to all readers.

Of Blood and Brothers by E. Michael Helms is one of the best historical fiction books I have read and that is saying a lot. The book tells the story of two brothers life during the Civil War fighting on different sides.
Part of what made the book so remarkable was the “feelings” and “emotions” the author wrote into the story. I actually felt the pain and fear during the battles. You could smell the smoke and gunpowder and hear the horror around them. The author did a great job developing the storyline while sticking to the historical facts of the various battles.
Having been to the various battlefields in the story, such as Chickamauga, and toured the hollowed grounds it made the story come alive to me. I found myself getting caught up and lost in the story.
E. Michael Helms did a great job of developing the characters. Each with their different personalities became real and believable in the story. It was easy to identify with them and become involved with their story.
The only problem I had with the book was how it ended. That problem was that “it ended.” I can’t wait to read the second book of the series.
I really enjoyed reading Of Blood and Brothers by E. Michael Helms and I highly recommend this book to all ages.

I really got into reading The Pact by CN Bring. It is a great spy, terrorist, espionage, seal team, navy action book with a touch of Christianity mixed in. Yes it has a little of everything and it is a great read also.

The author did an awesome job of weaving a story linking all of the above together into a faced paced action adventure. The storyline was well developed and easy to follow. The many twist and turns kept me guessing up to the end who the ultimate bad guy was.

CN Bring did a great job of making the characters both real and believable. I like when the various characters have strong personalities but you are still able to relate to them. She pulled all of these strong characters together into a team.

I really enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend The Pact by CN Bring to all readers.

I have read and reviewed several excellent books by Bob Mayer over the years and have loved every one of them. Chasing the Lost by Bob Mayer continues that great tradition of action packed adventure.

The author did a great job of developing a fast paced storyline full of intrigue and excitement. From the first page until the last it is hard to put the book down. I was caught up in the story and kept thinking about it even when I was not reading. I love this type of book that can totally grab me.

The characters were well defined and their background clearly developed. Bob Mayer, as always, develops characters that are easy to follow and most importantly easy to believe they are real. I stayed on the edge of my seat cheering them on.

I really enjoyed reading Chasing the Lost by Bob Mayer. I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Love, Justice and Power: The Message of Passover for Christians by Martin Roth is an excellent teaching on the meanings of the Passover and its applications to modern Christian life.

I really enjoyed the way the author delved into the historical and biblical significance of the Passover. I have always liked studying Hebrew history and the various feasts they celebrate. Most modern Christians have forgotten the deep connection between our beliefs and the Jewish feast. Martin Roth did an excellent job of tying it together.

I totally enjoyed reading Love, Justice and Power: The Message of Passover for Christians by Martin Roth. I highly recommend the book to all readers. It will make a great addition to your bible study library.
