Deadly Dunes by E. Michael Helms is the perfect book for all readers who love a story about a detective with a good mystery on his hands. This book is the type of book you can't put down when you start reading.

The author has developed a tale which is full of mystery and intrigue. Its fast paced storyline and many plot twist will leave you gasping for air. Even with all this it is easy read but you have to keep up. I loved it.

E. Michael Helms has developed a group of characters that are very real to life. This makes it easy to get behind them and into the storyline. I enjoyed watching them as the story developed.

I really liked Deadly Dunes by E. Michael Helms and highly recommend this book to all readers.

Looking for a great mystery/thriller to read? Then look no further because Deadly Catch by E. Michael Helms is the book for you. This who done it mystery will grab you by the seat of your pants and keep you glued to its pages.

I really like the way the author developed the storyline.  It was both believable and real to life. Just when you thought you knew what was going on the author would throw another plot twist and you hardly had time to catch your breath. I really liked getting involved in the story.

E. Michael Helms did an excellent job of developing his characters. He provide just enough background to make them real, just like people you may know. The lead characters had depth and a likeability that made them easy to identify with and follow.

I really liked Deadly Catch by E. Michael Helms and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

I have just finished Of Blood and Brothers Book Two by E. Michael Helms and I am at a loss for words. You know that feeling of being a peace and totally satisfaction that comes over you after something wonderful has occurred. That is the way I feel now, complete.

Throughout both of the books the author did an outstanding job of telling a tale which captured both my heart and soul. As I read books I became caught up and was dreading the ending. But, when it came, E. Michael Helms brought it all together leaving me with of closure.

Now don't get me wrong. Both of these books are full of action and adventure. There is great detail told of the horrors of American Civil War and its aftermath.  The author stuck to historical facts about the major events he described of the war.

If you like historical fiction and you are a Civil War buff, like me, you will love this series.

I really liked Of Blood and Brothers: Books 1 and 2 by E. Michael Helms and I highly recommend them to all readers.

Poetry has always been one of my favorite genres and “Growing Moon, Growing Soil” by John Davis Jr. was a great find and excellent read.  The book of poetry deals with life in Florida and the author’s youth. His writing style brought the stories to life.

Having lived in this area for many years it was easy for me to identify with the places and people he wrote about.  I could almost smell the orange blossoms and hear the creek babble. I really enjoyed this book.

I highly recommend “Growing Moon, Growing Soil” by John Davis Jr.

A family canoe/camping trip, an ancient Indian mound, and a mix of historical facts and you have everything you need for a great scare. D.L. Havlin has put it all together in his novel “A Place No One Should Go.” The excitement begins with page one and never lets up.

The storyline is well developed and easy to follow. It is believable which increases the scare factor. If you like to jump at the bump in the night you will enjoy this read.

I found the main characters very believable. These are people you can meet every day. It is easy to identify with them and follow their story.

I recommend this book for a mature reader.
