review	I have just finished Falcon Lord - Book One: The Lost Isle of Perpetua by D. A. Metrov. I now have to sit back and catch my breath. This fast paced, high adventure YA steampunk fantasy will literally leave you breathless. The author did a fantastic job of developing every aspect of the story and not leaving out the background. It was easy to read and follow even with all the plot twist that kept showing up. It was also easy to put myself into the story as an extra and follow along. This made for an exciting story and good book. D. A. Metrov did an excellent job of developing his characters. They were easy to believe in and identify with. As with the storyline, I like how he not only developed his characters as the story progressed but gave background info on each. This helped bring them to life. I really liked Falcon Lord by D. A.
