review

I really enjoyed reading The Trickster’s Totem by H. B. Bolton. This is the second book in the series, Relics of Mysticus, and like the first one, it is an excellent YA fantasy novel.

The author did a great job in story development, making it full of action and mystery. The book’s many twist and turns kept me on the edge of my seat not wanting to put the book down. It was both fun to read and full of all the aspects that make for a good fantasy book.

H.B. Bolton did a good job of character development, keeping them both believable and real. The main heroes from the earlier book continue to grow and mature in this story. The new characters, both friend and foe, help make the story exciting and different.

I really liked The Trickster’s Totem by H.B. Bolton and I highly recommend this book to all readers, especially YA fantasy readers.
