Looking for a quick read and a good thriller? Then, The Hellfire Legacy: The Call by Leigh Barker may be just the book for you. This short story is full of action and adventure with excitement around every corner.

The author did a good job of develop a story that is fast pace and easy to read. What it lacks in depth it makes up in intrigue. I enjoy this quick escape and found it easy to get into.

I recommend The Call for all readers who like a short easy to read adventure novel.

Chimera by N. J. Tanger is an excellent science fiction adventure that is full of intrigue and mystery. I really enjoyed getting into the characters and storyline.

The author has developed a tale that is captivating, catching my interesting and pulling me deep into the story. The author's storytelling style brings the book to life. With frequent plot twist and turns it is hard to put this tale down.

N. J. Tanger has brought together a group of characters that are so different yet so real that it is fun to watching them grow together. I like the depth and realism that has been instilled into the characters making them easy to identify with.

I really liked reading Chimera by N. J. Tanger so much that I have already got the next installment in the series, Helios, and will begin reading it soon.

I highly recommend this book to all readers.

A Whisper of Armageddon by Leigh Barker is a great story which grabbed me by the seat of the pants and would not let me stop reading. It is fast paced and full of intrigue.

The author did a great job of developing a storyline which was full of adventure and excitement. The plot twist and turns made for fast reading fun. I like the way the author developed this tale and how it came alive and was very real.

Leigh Barker's characters were well developed and easy to follow. They had depth and personality which made them seem like real people not just action heroes.

I really enjoyed reading A Whisper of Armageddon by Leigh Barker and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Constricted by Becca J. Campbell is an excellent novella that will make for a great evening of reading. It is especially good after having read her book, Empath, and bringing the characters to life.

The author has a unique storytelling style which pulls you into the story and helps you identify with the characters. I really like how it was so easy to follow the story and feel the emotions of the tale. Her characters have depth and realism which I like in a modern fantasy novel.

I really enjoyed reading Constricted by Becca J. Campbell and I highly recommend this book and her book Empath (see previous review from August, 2013).

If you like an action packed space opera then you need to read Behemoth by John Walker. The fast paced adventure will leave you gasping for air.

The author has put together a tail that is so intriguing that I had trouble putting it down. The action is non-stop and the constant little plot twist kept me on the edge of my seat. I really liked John Walker's storytelling style. His writing made the story come alive.

The characters developed by John Walker were very realistic and easy to believe in. The heroes seemed like people you could meet and like. This made the storyline even better.

I really liked Behemoth by John Walker and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Dragon's Curse by H. L. Burke is a very good fantasy novel that is full of action and adventure. With dragons, wizards, knights and sorcery how can you go wrong.

The storyline developed by the author is full of plot twist and intrigue which left me guessing throughout the story as to what was going to happen next. About half way through the book the tale took on a surprising turn and the story came alive. I really liked the author's style of spinning a tale of intrigue and adventure.

H. L. Burke did an excellent job of developing characters that were easy to identify with. He provided the right about of background information on each to make the real and believable.

I really enjoyed reading Dragon's Curse by H. L. Burke and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

The author has done a fantastic job of developing a plot that will grab you by the seat of your pants and won't let you go. The many plot twist and turns makes it just that much more exciting to read. This is a storyline that I really got into.

M. R. Forbes has put together a group of characters that are real and very believable. Their depth and personality makes them very easy to follow.

I really liked Starship Eternal by M. R. Forbes and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Hidden (Dragonlands, Book 1) by Megg Jensen is a good fantasy novel with action and intrigue, enough to keep you reading.

The author did a good job developing a tale which had several surprises and plot twist which made for good reading. After a slow start the storyline picked up speed and was very interesting.

Megg Jensen's characters could have been deeper and a little more believable but they were still easy to follow.

I liked the Hidden by Megg Jensen and recommend this book.

Valley of the Kings: The 18th Dynasty by Terrance Coffey is a great historical fiction. This book is fast paced and full of excitement. I had a hard time putting it down.

The author has done a great job of taking historical facts and turning them into an epic historical novel full of adventure and he captured the intrigue of the Egyptian court. The author's storytelling style made the book come alive and I could smell the smells and see the sights clearly in my mind.

I really liked how Terrance Coffey made the characters of the book come alive. They did not seem like the figures of history books, but they seemed real and believable. It was fun getting into the storyline and following along with the characters.

I really liked Valley of the Kings: The 18th Dynasty by Terrance Coffey and I high recommend this book to all readers.
