I really
liked reading A Hostage to Heritage by Suzanne Adair. As a historical novel set
in the Revolutionary War in southeastern North Carolina it remained true to
historical facts while making them come alive.
The author
did an excellent job of developing an exciting storyline, it was action packed
and full of adventure. The author’s writing style made the story easy to follow
all the twist and turns which took place and keeping the excitement building.
Having grown up in eastern North Carolina I found the story very realistic and
exciting.
Suzanne
Adair did a great job of character development. Each of the main characters was
very real to life and easy to follow. I really like this and found it easy to
identify with them.
I really
enjoyed A Hostage to Heritage by Suzanne Adair and I highly recommend it to all
readers.
