Valley of the Kings: The 18th Dynasty by Terrance Coffey is a great historical fiction. This book is fast paced and full of excitement. I had a hard time putting it down.

The author has done a great job of taking historical facts and turning them into an epic historical novel full of adventure and he captured the intrigue of the Egyptian court. The author's storytelling style made the book come alive and I could smell the smells and see the sights clearly in my mind.

I really liked how Terrance Coffey made the characters of the book come alive. They did not seem like the figures of history books, but they seemed real and believable. It was fun getting into the storyline and following along with the characters.

I really liked Valley of the Kings: The 18th Dynasty by Terrance Coffey and I high recommend this book to all readers.

I enjoy reading good historical fiction and Sword of Fortune by Christopher Nicole is just such a book. It is full of action, adventure, romance and intrigue, which will leave you exhausted when you finish this book.

The author is a great storyteller. As I read the book I could see the sights as he described them; I could smell the smells and hear the sounds. This is what makes a novel come alive. The storyline is fast paced and full of action. The plot twist and turns will keep you glued to the story.

Christopher Nicole has a developed a cast of characters that are so real to life that it was easy to get into them and follow their stories. It was fun to watch to watch them mature and develop as the story progressed.

I really liked Sword of Fortune by Christopher Nicole and highly recommend this book to all readers.

The River of Corn by John Rose Putnam is one of the best historical novels I have read in a long time. It's fast paced and full of action which will leave you breathless as you read this book.

The author has done an excellent job of developing a storyline that is captivating and realistic. It is obvious the author has done his research on the historical era and the native culture of that period. I really enjoyed the book and found myself absorb by the story.

John Rose Putnam developed a set of characters that were both real and very believable. It was easy to identify with them and get deep into their story and lives.

I really liked The River of Corn by John Rose Putnam and highly recommend this book to all readers.

Intrusion, A Relative Invasion by Rosalind Minett is a lite, easy to read story that will grab you and keep you glued to its page from beginning to end. This is the type of book you love cozying up to and getting lost to the outside world reading it.

It is hard to imagine growing up, as a child with all the normal family dynamics, in the middle of London in World War II. Rosalind Minett has put together a tale of just such a life with this book. The story revolves around Billy, a young boy growing up in a very dysfunctional family. Billy will grab your heart as you grow attached to him and his situation. The author has done a great job of developing each of her characters giving them life with words.

The storyline is full of joy and sadness as you see the realities of war time life. The author has done a great job of putting together a tale that is so believable that you find yourself there. You can tell Rosalind Minett has done her research by the realness and historical accuracy of the story.

I liked Intrusion, A Relative Invasion by Rosalind Minett and I recommend it to all readers.

I have always been fascinated by ancient Egyptian history and love reading historical novels that relate to this. Khamsin: The Devil Wind of the Nile by Inge H. Borg is a great example of this type of fiction in its best form.

The author did a great job of developing a storyline that will keep you glued to its pages and will not let you go. With the author's style of writing you can easily put yourself in the desert and on the banks of the Nile, feeling the dry hot sun beating down or the wet cool breeze off the river. I found myself caught up in the story and living it along with the characters.

I liked the way Inge H. Borg developed her characters. They were real and came to life as the story progressed. It was easy to identify with each character and understand their role in the tale.

I really liked Khamsin: The Devil Wind of the Nile by Inge H. Borg and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

review	The Great Law of Peace (Book 3 of The Peacemaker Trilogy) by Zoe Saadia is an excellent example of how historical fiction should be written. This fast paced novel will grab you and not let you go. The author did a great job of continuing the story of how five American Indian tribes united and brought peace to their world. In book 3 you can see the emotions and intrigue build to their conclusion, keeping you glued to every page of the story. I really like the way the author uses fiction to bring historical events to life. Zoe Saadia did an excellent job of developing her characters to be both, real and believable. You could see them grow and develop through each of the books and fully mature in book 3. I really like her characters and found myself really getting into their storyline. review	I have just finished Of Blood and Brothers Book Two by E. Michael Helms and I am at a loss for words. You know that feeling of being a peace and totally satisfaction that comes over you after something wonderful has occurred. That is the way I feel now, complete. Throughout both of the books the author did an outstanding job of telling a tale which captured both my heart and soul. As I read books I became caught up and was dreading the ending. But, when it came, E. Michael Helms brought it all together leaving me with of closure. Now don't get me wrong. Both of these books are full of action and adventure. There is great detail told of the horrors of American Civil War and its aftermath.  The author stuck to historical facts about the major events he described of the war. If you like historical fiction and you are a Civil War buff, like me, you will love this series. I really liked Of Blood and Brothers: Books 1 and 2 by E. review	It is hard to beat good historical fiction and Legionnaire: Exiles of Arcadia by James Gawley is just such a book. The story is action packed and fast paced. It was hard to put down once I started reading. The author's ability as a wordsmith is very clear in this tale of the life of a Roman legionnaire. He did a great job of developing the storyline by making it both exciting and believable. He provides just enough background to help you understand the story, without getting bogged down in detail. The plot twist and storyline was easy to follow and relate to. One of the best things I like about James Gawley's story was his character development. He made each of his characters real and very believable. You watched as the main characters grew and developed as the book progressed. I really like this as I could relate to each of them. review	The Versailles Legacy by Lyn Alexander is an excellent historical fiction. If you like getting into a book and feeling a part of the story you will love this novel. I loved the way the author continued to develop the storyline she had started in the first book, The Officer's Code. Germany has suffered through the post WW I years and Hitler is beginning to reunite the patriotic feeling in the German people. The story does an excellent job of following this theme through the lead characters and their emotional turmoil from all the changes they must face. With the author's writing style you will believe you are there. Lyn Alexander has done a great job of continuing to develop her main characters. The hero continues to grow stronger even as he faces all the changes of this period of history. I really got into the characters as the author so vividly described them.
