review	Kolony by Glynn Burridge is one of those books you cannot stop reading once you start. It is full of excitement and action with a big touch of pure scary built in. The storyline is well developed and easy to follow. Yet, each time I thought it was at a climax it would take off again keeping me on the edge of my seat. The main characters were very believable, both good and bad. I found myself trying to stay out of the story because of the scariness and evil that was woven throughout the story. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to a more mature reader as some of the plots were gruesome.

review	“The Castors of Giza” by Chris Hambleton blew me away. At first I thought it was just another good book about ancient Egypt but the more I read the harder it became to put down. I was totally captured in the story. The author did an excellent job of tying the various storylines together.  What started out as a story about the building of the Great Pyramid took on new meaning when the author brought Abram and Sarai and the Biblical story of their trip to Egypt into the story. I love when an author is able tell an Old Testament story and make it real and at the same time stay true to the original Bible text. Chris Hambleton did an excellent job of this. Plus, there is a surprise biblical twist I won’t tell. The characters he added to the story were well developed and believable. I found it easy to join them as an extra and follow along, getting lost in the story. I totally enjoyed reading “The Castors of Giza” by Chris Hambleton. I highly recommend this book.

review	Poetry has always been one of my favorite genres and “Growing Moon, Growing Soil” by John Davis Jr. was a great find and excellent read.  The book of poetry deals with life in Florida and the author’s youth. His writing style brought the stories to life. Having lived in this area for many years it was easy for me to identify with the places and people he wrote about.  I could almost smell the orange blossoms and hear the creek babble. I really enjoyed this book. I highly recommend “Growing Moon, Growing Soil” by John Davis Jr.

review	“The Oldest Enemy” by Michael J Webb is an exciting thriller which will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire book. I could hardly wait to see where the next twist or turn in the story led. This is a great book full of international intrigue, a few spies, detectives and several heroes. To make it even better it is a Christian novel. The author did an excellent job with the storyline. His style of writing made the book easy to follow and even more believable. He tied all the various twist in the story together to weave a tail that will captivate you and have you wanting more. The characters are well developed and easy to believe in. I found it easy to put myself into the story and follow along. Even the bad guy was so real you got a chill down your spine when he entered a scene. I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend “The Oldest Enemy” by Michael J Webb.

review	“Hot Rock Dreaming” by Martin Roth is an excellent example of how to write a detective thriller. This book kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat from page one until the very end of the book. I could not put it down. The storyline is well developed and easy to follow. Each twist and turn the story took lead to another great “ah-ha” moment. It was easy to put yourself into the story as the unseen character and become absorbed in the plot. The characters were both real to life and easy to identify with. Martin Roth did a great job of developing each of the characters and their part in the plot. I totally enjoyed “Hot Rock Dreaming” by Martin Roth I high recommend this book.

review	A family canoe/camping trip, an ancient Indian mound, and a mix of historical facts and you have everything you need for a great scare. D.L. Havlin has put it all together in his novel “A Place No One Should Go.” The excitement begins with page one and never lets up. The storyline is well developed and easy to follow. It is believable which increases the scare factor. If you like to jump at the bump in the night you will enjoy this read. I found the main characters very believable. These are people you can meet every day. It is easy to identify with them and follow their story. I recommend this book for a mature reader.

review	I really enjoy reading an action packed spy/intrigue adventure novel and “Bodyguard of Lies” by Bob Mayer is just such a book. This novel was a real page turner and hard to put down. The author has an excellent way of pulling you into the story and keeping you on the edge of your seat. The storyline is well developed and fast paced, yet easy to follow and keep up with. The characters are believable and easy to identify with. I found myself cheering their successes and holding my breath during their times of peril. I really got into the story. I highly recommend “Bodyguard of Lies” by Bob Mayer.
