review	I have read and reviewed several excellent books by Bob Mayer over the years and have loved every one of them. Chasing the Lost by Bob Mayer continues that great tradition of action packed adventure. The author did a great job of developing a fast paced storyline full of intrigue and excitement. From the first page until the last it is hard to put the book down. I was caught up in the story and kept thinking about it even when I was not reading. I love this type of book that can totally grab me. The characters were well defined and their background clearly developed. Bob Mayer, as always, develops characters that are easy to follow and most importantly easy to believe they are real. I stayed on the edge of my seat cheering them on. I really enjoyed reading Chasing the Lost by Bob Mayer. review	“The Oldest Enemy” by Michael J Webb is an exciting thriller which will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire book. I could hardly wait to see where the next twist or turn in the story led. This is a great book full of international intrigue, a few spies, detectives and several heroes. To make it even better it is a Christian novel. The author did an excellent job with the storyline. His style of writing made the book easy to follow and even more believable. He tied all the various twist in the story together to weave a tail that will captivate you and have you wanting more. The characters are well developed and easy to believe in. I found it easy to put myself into the story and follow along. Even the bad guy was so real you got a chill down your spine when he entered a scene. I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend “The Oldest Enemy” by Michael J Webb.

review	“Hot Rock Dreaming” by Martin Roth is an excellent example of how to write a detective thriller. This book kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat from page one until the very end of the book. I could not put it down. The storyline is well developed and easy to follow. Each twist and turn the story took lead to another great “ah-ha” moment. It was easy to put yourself into the story as the unseen character and become absorbed in the plot. The characters were both real to life and easy to identify with. Martin Roth did a great job of developing each of the characters and their part in the plot. I totally enjoyed “Hot Rock Dreaming” by Martin Roth I high recommend this book.

review	I really enjoy reading an action packed spy/intrigue adventure novel and “Bodyguard of Lies” by Bob Mayer is just such a book. This novel was a real page turner and hard to put down. The author has an excellent way of pulling you into the story and keeping you on the edge of your seat. The storyline is well developed and fast paced, yet easy to follow and keep up with. The characters are believable and easy to identify with. I found myself cheering their successes and holding my breath during their times of peril. I really got into the story. I highly recommend “Bodyguard of Lies” by Bob Mayer.

review	“Festival in the Desert” is Book 4 in the “Military Orders” series by Martin Roth. Each of his books is a great read but this book is the best of the series. It is full of fast paced action and adventure. It kept me on the edge of my seat for the entire book. The storyline is well developed and easy to follow. Each aspect of the story is clearly defined and ties into the overall storyline, bringing the reader a great adventure. What made the story even more real was how it tied in with the headlines of today. The author captured this moment in history and applied it to his novel in a way that is totally relevant. The character are easy to identify with and very believable. It was easy to put myself into the story as an “extra” in each scene and follow along with the plot. The plot moved at a good pace and never dragged. I really enjoyed the book. I highly recommend “Festival in the Desert” by Martin Roth for all ages. review	I just finished “Prophets and Loss” by Martin Roth and it was excellent. This is the first book of his “Johnny Ravine Private Detective Series” and it has me hooked. I can’t wait to read more books in this series. The storyline of “Prophets and Loss” is well develop and easy to follow. I like the way the author explained the main character’s history and background, tying it into the story. The action way continuous and exciting, which made it hard to put the book down. The characters, especially the lead character, Johnny, were very believable. It was easy to identify Johnny and follow his story. I look forward to reading more of Johnny’s adventures in the other books of the “Johnny Ravine Private Detective Series.” I high recommend this book.

review	"Blacklisted" by Luke Romyn is an exciting book that is hard to put down once it gets up to speed. The first couple of chapters are slow. But wow, once it takes off it is none stop adventure and action. The storyline is well developed with “lots” of twist and turns which keeps you on your toes. The characters were believable and easy to identify with. I recommend this book.
