The Lopsided Christmas Cake by Wanda Brunstetter has it all, romance, a little intrigue, and personal growth and a faith building message, all while bringing the laughs on. Once you start reading it you will not want to put it down.

As with her other books I found the author's ability to weave a story was so realistic I found myself fitting into the tale. How many times in real life have I stumbled through a task to success. Wanda Burnstetter's down to earth style of writing made the story come alive to this reader. There are no limits to God's plan for your future and this story re-enforces that truth to the reader.

Wanda Burnstetter has done it again by developing characters that are realistic and easy to identify with. Through their personal growth and adventure they force the reader to look inward and grow. I found it very easy to identify with the characters and follow along their individual storylines.

I really enjoyed The Lopsided Christmas Cake by Wanda Burnstetter and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Sometimes you need to take a step back and read a good heartwarming story about family. A Room of My Own by Ann Tatlock is just such a book that will take you back to just such a world.

The author has done an excellent job of developing a coming of age story of a young girl in the 1930's. While living through the hard years of the depression we see this family come together. The story captured my heart and I really had a hard time taking a reading break once I started.

Ann Tatlock's characters are well develop and very easy to identify with. They were so real I found myself falling deep into the story and becoming an unseen character, following along in the background. I love the storytelling style of Ann Tatlock and how she created characters and a storyline that flow together so wonderful.

I really loved A Room of My Own by Ann Tatlock and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

Dog's Coffee-Shop by Uncle Amos & Edith Ordan is a great book to read to your children or have them read to you. It is very interesting and the illustrations are excellent.

I enjoyed the way the author told a great little tale and at the same time wove a good moral into the story. The book did an excellent job of weaving a good story and delivery a wonderful message of how we must help other people who are less fortunate than we.

I really enjoyed Dog's Coffee-Shop by Uncle Amos & Edith Ordan and highly recommend it.

I give it my "Grandpa Seal of Approval."

review	The Rise of the Guardian by Jennifer Ogden, Book 2 in the Guardian Series, is a great book for young readers. It has the right amount of adventure and action to keep them interested, without overwhelming them. I thought the author did a great job of developing a tale which kept me glued to the pages but also inter-twinned various social morals. Her storytelling style was easy to follow and very believable. For a short book she covered a lot of ground. I found Jennifer Ogden's characters where easy to identify with, very believable and easy to follow. I liked the way she included background information on her lead characters which helped to make them and the story come to life. I enjoyed The Rise of the Guardian by Jennifer Ogden and I recommend this book to all readers. review	I attended a book signing the weekend to pick a copy of Dr. Maria Negron’s new book “Treasures from the King” for my 6 year old grandson. After reading the book we both agreed this is an excellent book with a very positive message for children. Do you remember when there use to always be a “moral to the story?” This book is composed of four short adventure tales, each of which has a great moral. Not only were they good for you but they were fun to read. I actually got into the stories, but then I am a big kid at heart. As a grandparent I recommend you pick up several copies today for all your children, grandchildren and any other children in your life. I highly recommend this book for everyone.
