The Restoration by Wanda Brunstetter continues in the tradition of all her stories. It contains everything you need to have a great read, romance, a little intrigue, personal growth and a faith building message. Once you start reading it you will not want to put it down.As with her other books I found the author's ability to weave a story that was so realistic I lost myself in the tale, following as an unseen extra. How many times in real life have I stumbled through a task to success. Wanda Burnstetter's down to earth style of writing made the story come alive to this reader. There are no limits to God's plan for your life and this story re-enforces that truth to the reader.


Wanda Burnstetter has done it again by developing characters that are realistic and easy to identify with. Through their personal growth and adventure the characters force the reader to look at their own life choices and grow. I found it very easy to identify with the characters and follow along their individual storylines.


I really enjoyed The Restoration by Wanda Burnstetter and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

When You Come Home by Nancy Cavin Pitts is what reading a love story is all about. This book will, not only, pull at your heart strings, but will grab your heart and squeeze.

The author has developed a tale of pure and simple love in a young couple in the early 1940s. Nancy Cavin Pitts writing style weaves a story that will not let you put it down. I found myself not wanting to go to bed but continuing to read this beautiful story.

The characters developed by Nancy Cavin Pitts could be the kids next door. They are so real and believable, I found myself in the storyline as a friend. I love when I can become so involved in the story I can't get it out of my mind.

I really loved When You Come Home by Nancy Cavin Pitts and I highly recommend this book for all readers.

The Lopsided Christmas Cake by Wanda Brunstetter has it all, romance, a little intrigue, and personal growth and a faith building message, all while bringing the laughs on. Once you start reading it you will not want to put it down.

As with her other books I found the author's ability to weave a story was so realistic I found myself fitting into the tale. How many times in real life have I stumbled through a task to success. Wanda Burnstetter's down to earth style of writing made the story come alive to this reader. There are no limits to God's plan for your future and this story re-enforces that truth to the reader.

Once in a while I really enjoy reading a good book about growing up in a small town and The Heart is Where the Angels Sing by Kenny Miller is just such a book. It is full of short stipites of life in middle America.

The author's storytelling style had me laughing out loud in some stories and shedding tears in others. The stories are so real and heart touching that I literally could not stop reading.

The Heart is Where the Angels Sing by Kenny Miller is an EXCELLENT book and will fill you with life and hope. I highly recommend this book to all readers and ages.

Once in a while you run across a children's book that just blows your socks off. Nana's 3 Jars by Carol Round is that kind of book. Not only is it well written and full of life lessons, it is also fun to read. Add to that the quality of the illustrations in the book and it becomes the perfect book to share with your children.

I loved the storyline that Carol Round developed. Not only is it well written and age appropriate but it spells out three important life principle for us to live by in a way that even I can understand. Her storytelling style makes the lesson come to life and easy relate to.

I really enjoyed Nana's 3 Jars by Carol Round and I highly recommend this book to ALL ages.

I give it my "Grandpa Seal of Approval."

review	The Visitor by Bree Abbington is a great book to spend an afternoon wrapped up in. This 58'ish page heartwarming true story will keep you glued to its pages. The author did a great job of telling this story about one Christmas in her life. Her writing style just added to the realism and captures the reader. You can feel her pain and triumphs throughout the book. I believe it should be required reading for all parents and teachers. Yes we have problems in our schools, with our teachers and in our homes, but society needs to step back and take a good look at the issues and stop pointing fingers. Cleo Lampos demonstrates that the system can work and shows how to make it better. review	Cafeteria Covenant by Dee Marvin Emeigh is a great book about the author's coming to grips with her walk with God in a world of "religion." It is hard hitting and tells it like it is. I really liked the way the author opened up with her own failings and short comings and showed the hypocrisy of the world as she turned to religion. She showed how, as she stayed true to her walk with God, she began to find who God really is and his unending love he has for his children. Dee Marvin Emeigh did an excellent job of developing her story. By sharing her experiences and making them real it is easy for a reader, and myself, to identify with her and grow in our own walk. I like the way the author dealt with the lies that Christians hear and fall victim to. She took a systematic approach to dealing with each of the ten most common misconceptions that try to still a Christian’s joy. What I liked best is she debunked each lie the way you should by always addressing a misunderstanding of God by using God’s word, The Bible, to explain God’s plan for your life. I have always been taught to use The Bible to interpret The Bible.
