review	The 10 Biggest Lies About God & The Truth That Will Set You Free by Krystal Kuehan is an excellent bible study that every child of God should read.  It is full of great information and is right on point. I like the way the author dealt with the lies that Christians hear and fall victim to. She took a systematic approach to dealing with each of the ten most common misconceptions that try to still a Christian’s joy. What I liked best is she debunked each lie the way you should by always addressing a misunderstanding of God by using God’s word, The Bible, to explain God’s plan for your life. I have always been taught to use The Bible to interpret The Bible. review	A Psalm for the Battle by Martin Roth is a short devotional on Psalm 18. It reflects on the verses and how they apply to the role of Christians in the military. It is an excellent study using both cross references in the Bible and commentary from other authors and sources. I especially like the reflections from actual soldiers and leaders as they discuss their life and experiences in the military. The commentary is well thought out and the presentation is easy to read and understand. I have read several works by Martin Roth and this book, like those, are both well written and clearly presented. review	Love, Justice and Power: The Message of Passover for Christians by Martin Roth is an excellent teaching on the meanings of the Passover and its applications to modern Christian life. I really enjoyed the way the author delved into the historical and biblical significance of the Passover. I have always liked studying Hebrew history and the various feasts they celebrate. Most modern Christians have forgotten the deep connection between our beliefs and the Jewish feast. Martin Roth did an excellent job of tying it together. I totally enjoyed reading Love, Justice and Power: The Message of Passover for Christians by Martin Roth. I highly recommend the book to all readers. review	The Practical Guide to Happiness by Margaret Curley Sanborn is an excellent self-help book for guiding you to a better and happier life.  The sub-title sums it up, “If You Don’t Like How You’re Feeling, Think Again.” The author did a great job of offering easy to understand, real life examples of life situation. By doing so she showed the right and the wrong way people approach these issues. Her systematic approach to looking at life in a positive manner and not letting your ego get in the way was great. Her methods were easy to follow and if applied to your life should yield positive results. I found The Practical Guide to Happiness by Margaret Curley Sanborn both good reading and very helpful. review	Leading Without Authority by Aditi Chopra deals with the obstacles and pit falls faced by leaders who are in a position where they have little or no authority over the people they lead. This is common position which leaders can find themselves in the today’s business environment of team based leadership and projects.   Aditi did a good job of describing the various situations modern leaders find themselves in. She explained the pitfalls and challenges of each.   She explained in detail the various leadership styles that different leaders use to function and manage their business. Then she took each style and applied it to the issue of leading without authority.   I found the book well written and easy to read. It was informative and well thought-out. It is full of tips and suggestions which are applicable in all aspects of life. The author did a great job of putting this book together so that it is both informative and fun to read. In its clear, concise format it is easy to read and follow. The tips and suggestions are presented with many real life examples and are easy to understand. I really enjoyed reading this book; it is not dry and boring like most self-help motivational books. It is full of humor and wit which makes the tips come alive and seem more applicable to my life. It’s easy to follow steps and simple layout makes it a snap to use. The author did a great job in organizing and developing the layout of the book and marketing plan so that even I could follow it. It is written for the “newbie” writer and the old pro alike. I picked up a lot of great tips and suggestions and will be implementing them in my own marketing programs. review	“Heroic Quest: A Simple Guide to Happiness” by Philip D Groom offers a lot of good advice on dealing with the stress and worry associated with everyday life. It is laid out in a systematic and logical way that is easy to follow. I especially enjoyed the many quotes used in the book. My problem was the book tended to get bogged down in details in several places. This made it confusing and took away from the main points. A little technical explanation goes a long way and too much can kill the theme and the reader’s attention.

review	Like most readers of the Bible I love the Psalms for both pleasure and especially for inspiration in periods of trail. Bob Saffrin’s book, “Psalms: The Sunrise of Hope” is an excellent study and guide to some of the best Psalms. The author’s insight helps bring the psalmist words to life and added life application examples, making it easy to relate to my life. I have always been taught to use the Bible to explain and define the Bible. Bob Saffrin does this as he provides insight to the heart and soul of the psalmist. He uses other scriptures to interrupt the true meaning of the psalm. I found “Psalms: The Sunrise of Hope” to be very uplifting and informing. I really enjoyed this book and Bible study. I highly recommend “Psalms: Sunrise of Hope” by Bob Saffrin to all ages.
