Psalm 119 –
Thy Word is a Lamp unto My Feet by Deborah H. Bateman is an excellent
commentary and Bible study of the longest chapter found in the Bible. Though it
could be read as a daily study, I found I could not put it down and finished it
in a couple of reading sessions.

Bateman did a great job of putting together a short, concise guide to this
powerful Psalm. Her style of writing made it easy to follow and understand. Her
narrative was both simple and to the point, while leaving plenty of room for
the reader to apply the verses to their life and situation.
At the end
of each lesson the author asked several questions in a section called “Things
to Think About.” I found these to be very thought provoking and extremely
insightful.
I really
enjoyed Psalm 119 – Thy Word is a Lamp unto My Feet by Deborah H. Bateman and I
highly recommend this book to all readers.
