review	I love a good archaeological thriller and Plaza by Shane M Brown met all my requirements for a great book. It is a fast paced thriller that is full of adventure and intrigue. The author did a great job of telling a tale that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the book. It is non-stop and the plot twist will keep you guessing. Just when you think you have the story figured out, another major twist hits. I loved it. Shane M Brown developed a cast of characters that were both believable and real. It was easy to identify with them and often I found myself holding my breath as they move through the story. I really liked Plaza by Shane M Brown and I highly recommend this book to all readers. review	Do you like reading fast paced, action and adventure books? If so, Troubled Sea by Jinx Schwartz is the book for you. This book will take your breath away and leave you panting for more. I really liked the way the author developed this excellent tale and built on the ever twisting plot lines. He was able to keep me guessing up until the end of the book. Even with all the plot twist the book was easy to follow and read.  I found myself really getting into the storyline. Jinx Schwartz did a great job of building his characters. They were very believable and easy to identify with. You could watch the characters grow and mature as the story progressed. This made it easy to get into the story and internalize it. review	The Fall of the Empire by Zoe Saadia is another great historical fiction dealing with the rise of the Aztecs as the dominate force in the Mesoamerican era of Mexico. It is action packed, full of intrigue and adventure. I have really enjoyed reading all four of the author’s books of this series because of her unique storytelling style. This one is no exception. The author did a great job of developing a tale that continued to build on each of the previous books in the series. I really like the way she stuck to historical facts and molded the story around them. Zoe Saadia continued her style of developing strong and courageous characters that were both believable and easy to identify with. Not only did she continued to build upon the strength of her previous characters as their story develop but I really liked the new characters she introduced. I really enjoyed The Fall of the Empire by Zoe Saadia and the entire series. review	Once in a while you find a book that you just can’t put down; Chasing Fate by Maria Miller is just such a book. It is full of adventure and action and will keep you on the edge of your seat for the entire book. The author did a great job of putting together a story that was exciting and full of intrigue. Even with all the twist and turns in the storyline it was easy to follow and keep up with. I found it easy to put myself into the story and follow along with the heroes and this always makes a book better for me. I liked the way Maria Miller developed her characters. Her heroes were both strong yet vulnerable, which thought and acted like your everyday teenagers. I found it easy to identify with them and thought there was realness to them. review	Currents of War by Zoe Saadia is the fourth book of The Rise of the Aztecs Series and is an awesome historical novel of the Mesoamerican history of Mexico. The storyline continues the tale of our heroes as their life and times are rapidly changing. It builds on the foundation already established in the first three novels and flows seamlessly as the adventure continues. The intrigue and adventure that fill the characters’ lives will keep you on the edge of your seat. From plots and schemes of the royal court to the lives of the families you will want more. I could not put this book down. It is obvious from the detail and accuracy of the historical data that the author did her research and stayed true to the history of this great civilization. I love the way Zoe Saadia has developed each of the main characters into strong adults. She has instilled each of her characters with their own unique personality which is easy to identify with and follow. review	The Emperor’s Second Wife by Zoe Saadia continues the exciting adventures and fast paced action of The Rise of the Aztecs Series. This historical novel dealing with the post classic period of Mesoamerican history in central Mexico will keep you glued to the pages and your heart racing with excitement. It is very obvious the author has done her research and added her imagination to create this world of intrigue and suspense in the royal palace. More than either of the first two books of the series I felt she really puts the reader in the story. As I read The Emperor’s Second Wife, I could hear the sounds and smell the smells of the capital city and palace. It really brought the story alive and made the characters all that much more real. Here attention to detail and historical accuracy is very evident in the story. As in the previous book Zoe Saadia did an excellent job of developing the storyline. It continued to build on the previous books but took on its own story and adventure. I really enjoy the level of suspense and intrigue she created in the story. review	Crossing Worlds by Zoe Saadia is the second installment of The Rise of the Aztecs series. This is an excellent historical novel dealing with the post classic period of Mesoamerican history in central Mexico. Crossing Worlds, along with Book - The Highlander, held my attention and kept me gasping for more. The author did an excellent job of continuing the story she had started with Book 1. The action and adventure is none stop and the storyline is well defined. I found it easy to put myself into the story and follow along. Each twist and turn into the story added more excitement as the plot thickens. By continuing the adventures of the main characters from the first book it is easy to follow them as they grow and mature into young men and warriors. With the author’s writing style it is easy to identify with the characters , sharing their thoughts and emotions. If you loved The Highlander, you will not be disappointed with Crossing Worlds by Zoe Saadia. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and cannot wait to read more of the continuing adventures of the heroes. review	I enjoy reading a good historical novel and the The Highlander (Book 1: The Rise of the Aztecs Series) by Zoe Saadia is just such a book. Once I started reading it I had trouble putting it down and found myself totally engrossed in the story. The author did a great job of developing the storyline. She laid her story foundation and then built upon each layer, adding to the suspense and action as she went. It was easy to follow the various plots and get involved with the in story as an unseen character. I love when an author is able to make me feel like I am there. Each character was well developed and easy to believe in. It was easy to identify with each of the characters and cheer for each side in the story as it developed. Again, I like being able to place myself into the story and Zoe Saadia’s writing style allowed me to do just that. I really enjoyed reading The Highlander by Zoe Saadia and I highly recommend this book.
