Short Stories to Tickle Your Funnybone by Robert Thornhill will keep you laughing even after you have finished reading. This collection of short story excerpts from Robert Thornhill’s Lady Justice mystery/comedy series.

Each story is able to stand on its’ own and is hilarious in content. The stories are so realistic and believable you will be able to put yourself into the situation.

The author has succeeded in two of his primary goals. First, he has made me laugh throughout the book. Second, he has made me want to read more books in the Lady Justice series.

Robert Thornhill’s writing style will keep you glued to the book from start to finish. Here are two warnings from the book about the Lady Justice series.

“Lady Justice novels my cause insomnia. Never start a Lady Justice novel just before going to bed. You won’t be able to put it down.”

“Extreme caution should be used when drinking beverages or if your bladder is full, since reading a Lady Justice novel may cause spontaneous outbreaks of uncontrollable laughter that may cause liquids to squirt from bodily orifices.”

I really enjoyed Short Stories to Tickle Your Funnybone by Robert Thornhill and look forward to reading other books in his series.

I highly recommend this book.

I don’t often get to review children’s books, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading Um … Mommy, I Think I Flushed My Brother Down the Toilet by Jeff Rivera. I could not stop laughing all the way through it.

It was well written and very age appropriate. The storyline was well developed and oh so funny.  This was just the kind of book kids love. The illustrations were great and added to the story and laughs.

Just to be sure I was not being an over grown kid, I read the book to my 6 year old grandson for his expert opinion. His first thought, based on the cover, was; “This is a girl’s book.” As I read on he started laughing and gave out a loud “YUCK!” ever-so-often. In a six year Old’s vocabulary this mean it was “great.” In summary he said; “That was funny.”

I and my expert consultant really enjoyed Um … Mommy, I Think I Flushed My Brother Down the Toilet by Jeff Rivera and highly recommend it to all readers.
