Hidden (Dragonlands, Book 1) by Megg Jensen is a good fantasy novel with action and intrigue, enough to keep you reading.

The author did a good job developing a tale which had several surprises and plot twist which made for good reading. After a slow start the storyline picked up speed and was very interesting.

Megg Jensen's characters could have been deeper and a little more believable but they were still easy to follow.

I liked the Hidden by Megg Jensen and recommend this book.

The Verkreath Horror, book 2 of the Deathsworn Arc, by Martyn Stanley is an outstanding fantasy novel. It is full of action and adventure which will leave you breathless.

The storyline picks up where the first book of the series, The Last Dragon Slayer, left off, action and all. The author keeps piling on the plot twist and turns which pull you deeper into the epic tale of adventure. I really like the author's storytelling style and his ability to bring the words alive.

Martyn Stanley has put together a great cast of characters and this helps the book take on more life. It is fun to watch them grow and mature as the story develops.

review

If you like a mix of science fiction and fantasy then Star Bridge by Jeanne Foguth is the book for you. This action packed adventure is full of nonstop intrigue.

I really enjoyed the way the author developed her storyline weaving a woman from a seemly primitive culture and a man from a techno, spacefaring empire together in tale that I could not put down. This story was full of plot twist and turns but was easy to follow. I found myself getting caught up into the storyline.

The characters developed by Jeanne Foguth had a quality about them that made them easy to relate. Their lives and tale had me following along as an unseen character, identifying with their story. I like when this happens as I am reading a book.

Star Bridge by Jeanne Foguth is an excellent book and I highly recommend this book to all readers.

review

Prophecy's Queen by Timothy Bond is an excellent example of how a fantasy book should be written. It is full of action and intrigue and leaves little time for readers to catch their breath.

The author did a great job of developing a tale which grabbed my interest from page one. It was full of plot twist and turns, which kept the story flowing and building. There was lots of intrigue and thrills to keep me on the edge of my seat as I read. I really liked the author's style of weaving a tale of fantasy.

Timothy Bond did an excellent job of developing a cast of characters that were easy to believe in and follow. By providing just the right amount of background information on each character, they came alive and were very real. Couple this with a well written tale and I was absorbed into the story and loved it.

I really liked Prophecy's Queen by Timothy Bond and I highly recommend this book to all readers.
