Do you like reading historical fiction,
especially about ancient Egypt? If yes, then The Sekhmet Bed by Libbie Hawker
is the story for you. It is full of intrigue and mystery of the pharaoh's
court.
I really liked the way the author put
together a story that grabs hold of you and won't let go. The plot twists are
fast and steady which makes for an exciting read. Even with the twist the story
is easy to follow and read.
It is obvious Libbie Hawker has done her
research. The attention to detail and historical evidence is very apparent in
her storytelling style. I've read a lot of Egyptian novels and this is one of
the best.
Libbie Hawker has put together a cast of
characters that are both realistic and very believable. You can watch their
personalities and maturity grow as the story progresses. This is another reason
the book is such a good read.
I really liked The Sekhmet Bed by Libbie
Hawker and I highly recommend this book to all readers.
