The Willow Branch by Lela Markham is a
good example of how a fantasy/adventure book should be written. It is full of
thrilling adventure and enough action to fill anyone's need for it.
The author did a good job of developing
a story that was full of different plot lines and twist. In addition, it takes
place on two time lines. Even with this it came together in the end and all the
stories begin to fit in place.
I liked the way Lela Markham developed
her characters. They came alive as the story progress and their personalities
emerged. They became more real and easy to identify with as their place in the
tale developed.
I liked The Willow Branch by Lela
Markham and recommend it.
